Paper and Grace – Bozeman, Montana

Nestled in the Historic Cannery District of Bozeman, Montana, Paper and Grace is a stationery haven founded by owner Jill Redmon. Originally founded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Paper and Grace is an expression of Jill’s passion for thoughtful design, beauty, and the unexpected.

Jill’s brother, Cody Redmon, serves as the shopkeeper at Paper and Grace. A pen enthusiast at heart, Cody believes that details matter. Whether it’s uncovering the story behind a product or delivering exceptional customer service, he brings this philosophy to every interaction.
“Our passion for quality and the desire to share products that improve day-to-day living was what drove us and still does to this day. We focus our time and attention sourcing products from across the globe, with the goal of being a resource for our customers to find their favorites and discover something new.”

The Historic Cannery District offers a wonderful mix of shops, restaurants, bars, and creative offices. Located near downtown Bozeman, this vibrant destination welcomes both locals and visitors exploring Montana. The district features renovated historic buildings alongside new industrial-style structures that honor the area’s rich history.
“We chose the neighborhood due to its wonderful location, history, and great access as far as parking is concerned. The Cannery District’s historical buildings, original water tower, and gorgeous views make it stand out as a unique area in Bozeman. The well-designed spaces feature lots of natural light, and the use of historic images and advertisements from the pea production that functioned here from the early to mid-1900s keep the rich history of the district alive.”

Paper and Grace attracts a loyal customer base mixed with first-time visitors who identify as lovers of all things stationery. The shop is fortunate to welcome travelers passing through Montana who make it a point to seek them out.

The connection between Paper and Grace and TRAVELER’S COMPANY runs deep. The global community surrounding TRAVELER’S COMPANY brings an exciting energy to their more rural location, creating rewarding experiences for customers and staff alike. While Jill uses her TRAVELER’S notebook for travel, she loves seeing the creative and inspiring ways customers and employees personalize their own TN.
“Every customer interaction surrounding TRAVELER’S COMPANY notebooks is positive. From those who are being introduced to the brand for the first time, to those who are familiar but have recently learned we carry the products, and to the diehard enthusiast who we see regularly for refills or a new notebook – all of these are a joy to be a part of. We especially love when someone we’ve introduced to the brand later comes in with such a positive experience that they want to assemble and gift a new notebook to a friend or loved one.”

The Paper and Grace team uses a diverse range of inserts. Most rely on dated Diary, Lined, and Blank inserts for general utility. Kraft Folders serve as a favorite for temporary storage of receipts and business cards. For creative usage, Sketch, Watercolor, and Sticker Release inserts are must-haves. And lastly, the Tin Charms add that finishing touch to a TRAVELER’S notebook!

When asked what TRAVELER’S COMPANY item they recommend most, the team emphasizes listening to customers to help them find the perfect inserts for their needs. The notebook itself meets so many varied needs that it’s hard to recommend one item over another.

If Jill, Cody, and the Paper and Grace team could describe TRAVELER’S notebook in one word, they chose the word “Brilliant!”
