Magnify Life: TRC USA Pop-Up at JINS Abbot Kinney

This spring has been a journey of connection for the TRC USA team. As we traveled across the country meeting TRAVELER’S notebook enthusiasts both new and experienced, each event magnified the beauty of bringing people together through our shared love for travel and notebooks. One of the highlights of our spring events was welcoming the dedicated Southern Californian TRAVELER’S notebook community to the TRC USA Pop-Up at JINS Abbot Kinney!

The Venice Beach sunshine perfectly permeated the JINS Abbot Kinney store for our two-day pop-up event. Both brands share a dedication to helping people see the world more clearly. JINS through their thoughtfully designed eyewear, and TRAVELER’S COMPANY through notebooks that capture life’s travels and cherished moments.

The LOVE AND TRIP collection, which launched just a month ago, resonated deeply with both long-time TRAVELER’S notebook fans and newcomers. Its rich wine-red color created a nice harmony with JINS Abbot Kinney’s store, which was filled with muted red terracotta walls and brick, and of course the iconic red JINS logo.

Both newcomers and seasoned TN fans were drawn to the TRC USA Limited ROAD TRIP Collection, which felt especially meaningful because of Pete, a local street vendor on Abbot Kinney. Pete sells vintage clothing from his beloved Volkswagen Bus, which he parks near JINS. Seeing this iconic symbol of travel parked outside the TRC pop-up created such a serendipitous connection to our ROAD TRIP Collection, which was inspired by vintage Volkswagen Buses like Pete’s.

JINS’ philosophy to “magnify life” perfectly aligned with our LOVE AND TRIP theme as we watched customers explore both brands with curiosity and joy. Each TRAVELER’S notebook we saw and flipped through told a unique story, just as each pair of JINS frames expressed its wearer’s personality. Together, we celebrated how the right tools, whether eyewear or notebooks, can help us see and capture life’s beautiful details.

As we soon bid farewell to the temperate spring weather and jump into the warm embrace of summer, TRC USA will also be diving head-first into some exciting summer events. We can’t wait to see you at the next TRC USA pop-up at the San Francisco International Pen Show on August 29-31.
