The year 2026 marks the 20th Anniversary of the TRAVELER’S notebook. It is more important than ever for us to define what the essential spirit of TRAVELER’S notebook is. We look to the creator of TRAVELER’S notebook, Atsuhiko Iijima, to share his thoughts about this year’s theme:
“Ever since its launch, TRAVELER’S notebook has always been a tool that appeals to people’s feelings and hearts, not just a tool to fulfill a necessary function or use. We want this notebook to make you want to travel, express yourself, and start something new just by holding it in your hand. This is something we have always valued since its release, and we believe that at the root of this is the feeling and spirit that the notebook itself emits.
This time, we have redefined it as “Traveler’s Spirit” and decided to express it in the message and design. I thought this would be an appropriate theme for the diary’s 20th anniversary year.”

This year, TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA will again be offering an original leather tag as a gift to match the 2026 DIARY theme. These tags are made with the same leather as our TRAVELER’S notebook and embossed with the design inspired by the “THE TRAVELER’S SPIRIT” theme. You can easily customize your TRAVELER’S notebook by threading this leather tag through the elastic band.
This year, the leather tag is made with leather in camel color and embossed with “THE TRAVELER’S SPIRIT”. The leather tag can also be fashioned as a penholder by hooking a pen to it.
The distribution of this leather tag will begin alongside the pre-order of DIARY 2026 items. Starting on October 1st, 2025, at 9:00 AM PT, any order over $75 (excluding tax and shipping) on www.travelerscompanyusa.com will receive an original leather tag made of camel leather with special engraving.
