Come along with the TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan and its tour around the United States this year! TRAVELER’S notebook is all about travelers with a free spirit. When we are visiting places, new or old, it is important for us to always view our surroundings with a fresh perspective. Even in towns or streets that you’ve walked countless times, there may be events or occasions that make the moment extraordinary. With your TRAVELER’S notebook in hand, we encourage you to note down and capture those feelings in your everyday life.
TRAVELER’S COMPANY started in Japan but has ventured out to different corners of the world over these years, collecting new experiences and fresh points of view. We oiled our wheels and set up the wagons of our Stamp Caravan to different cities, hoping that we could bring a piece of the TRAVELER’S spirit to fans. At our home base at TRAVELER’S FACTORY stores in Japan, you will find stamps that commemorate your leg of the journey. At your local Stamp Caravan event, we brought the traveling stamps with us to leave a mark in your notebooks.
The second part of the Stamp Caravan tour in the US spans the summer months of June through August. The caravan explored cities such as Tampa, Chicago, Houston, and Boulder. The TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan is now on its last leg across the country. Let’s look at the stores that hosted the special event so far, and what the experience is like!
The Paper Seahorse – Tampa, Florida
The Paper Seahorse is a creative studio and stationery store based in Tampa, Florida, dedicated to creatives who cherish the analog experience. Their mission: “Creativity + Mindfulness” combines the owner, Tona Bell’s, expertise in workshops and retreats that focus on mindfulness and creative projects. The store is typically open on Saturday for the local community to pursue their analog wares.

The Paper Seahorse is also a TRAVELER’S COMPANY Partner Shop and draws fans from around the region, especially during the Stamp Caravan event. The bungalow-style building is filled with TRAVELER’S notebook-inspired ephemera and décor. In one room, customers can browse from a selection of TRAVELER’S COMPANY goods, while in other rooms, workshops and experiences are held.

The TRAVELER’S notebook community in Tampa gathered during the five-day events to decorate their TRAVELER’S notebook, create fun spreads using materials provided by the store, and participate in mindfulness and creative writing workshops held by the owner herself.
Atlas Stationers – Chicago, Illinois
Atlas Stationers is a stationery store based in downtown Chicago with over eighty-five years of legacy. The brick-and-mortar store sits right underneath the city’s iconic L train and is a popular destination for people who love good writing instruments, inks, and other paper goods.

Inside the store, you’ll find aisles and aisles of shelving filled with a huge variety of inks, fountain pens, office supplies, and fine stationery. The TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan experience sits in the middle of the store on two sturdy tool tables; the furniture has been passed down through generations of use.

TRAVELER’S notebook fans enjoyed decorating their notebooks with special stamps. The store also hosted special experiences such as making paper covers to customize the refills, as well as making personalized charms for the elastic band.
Paper and Pencil – Chicago, Illinois
A skip and a stone away in a different neighborhood in Chicago, one could discover Japanese stationery and creative goods at the charming Paper and Pencil in Andersonville. This friendly neighborhood stationery store has only been open for a few years, but has already drawn a community of analog lovers who enjoy customizing and creating with their TRAVELER’S notebook.

Paper and Pencil made the best use of the store’s small square footage and filled it from floor to ceiling with all kinds of creative stationery goods. One could find interesting products from local artists, Asia, Portugal, and other parts of the world. TRAVELER’S COMPANY products are displayed in a dedicated corner with apothecary case drawers. The team also set up a special stamping station outside the store during the Stamp Caravan event for fans who visit from all corners of Chicago.

For avid TRAVELER’S notebook fans, Paper and Pencil rented out a local bar and hosted a special stamp and customization experience for one evening. It was a special night for TRAVELER’S notebook users to connect over their notebook journey and stories.
Dromgoole’s Fine Writing – Houston, Texas
The TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan returns to Houston, Texas, again this year to Dromgoole’s Fine Writing, a local favorite when it comes to fine writing instruments, inks, paper, and leather accessories. The store and its passion for TRAVELER’S notebook draw fans all around Houston and neighboring cities for the occasion.

TRAVELER’S notebook users enjoyed the opportunity to socialize with other stationery lovers, including the opportunity to customize their covers and refills with the special stamps. The store also showcased special refill samples provided by the TRAVELER’S COMPANY team members.

Two Hands Paperie – Boulder, Colorado
Two Hands Paperie started out as a small book bindery in downtown Boulder in Colorado. Over three decades, it has now grown to a vibrant stationery and art supply store with a treasure chest of materials for creatives. It continues to attract analog lovers with its frequent workshops, book signings, and artist lectures. The second leg of TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan arrived on the charming Pearl Street at Two Hands Paperie, and we’re excited to see fans in this part of town.

Two Hands Paperie is also a TRC Partner Shop and offers a wider range of TRAVELER’S COMPANY products, including TRAVELER’S FACTORY items. TRAVELER’S notebook fans and new users were very happy at the opportunity to collect special Stamp Caravan stamp impressions in their new notebooks.

The TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan continues its journey across the United States throughout the rest of the year until October. Read about the caravan schedule and see which city they will be traveling to next. Perhaps you can encounter it when you plan your next travel destination!
