TRAVELER’S COMPANY, known for creating tools like TRAVELER’S notebook to help you live every day like a journey, is hosting an event called TRAVELER’S COMPANY CARAVAN, where we embark on a journey as a caravan. The next destination is the United States!
In November 2024, we will be holding events in three cities along the West Coast—Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Port Townsend—under the theme of a road trip.
In Los Angeles, on November 2nd and 3rd, we will host a Spiral Ring Notebook Viking Event at the lobby space of Intertrend, a creative company in Long Beach. You can create your own one-of-a-kind notebook. Alongside classic items like TRAVELER’S notebook and TRAVELER’S FACTORY items, USA-exclusive items created for the event will be available at the pop-up corner. We will also display winning entries from the TRAVELER’S notebook Road Trip Contest, organized by TRC USA.
In San Francisco, the event will be held on November 6th and 7th at Heath Ceramics, a historic ceramics company from the 1940s that has become a gathering place for those who share values in beauty and craftsmanship. Similar to the Long Beach event, you can enjoy the Spiral Ring Notebook Viking Event, a pop-up corner featuring USA-exclusive items, and the display of the Road Trip Contest’s winning entries.
Finally, on November 9th in Port Townsend, WA, the last stop of the event will be held at the shop Art Toolkit: Adventure Art Supply, known for creating pocket-sized watercolor palettes in collaboration with TRC USA. In addition to the TRAVEL & SKETCH experience, where you can experience sketching firsthand, there will be a pop-up corner featuring USA-exclusive items and the exhibition of Road Trip Contest winners.
In a vast country like the United States, known as the birthplace of motorization, the word “travel” often brings to mind a road trip. For those of us who have experienced American culture through movies, books, and music, the road trip also represents an iconic and nostalgic vision of the country. We are thrilled to embark on this road trip across the West Coast as the TRAVELER’S COMPANY CARAVAN, and we can’t wait to meet you all on this exciting journey!
USA CARAVAN LIMITED PRODUCTS
At the Caravan events, we will showcase special USA-exclusive items designed around the Road Trip theme. The lineup includes a TRAVELER’S notebook with a copper-foil stamped Road Trip logo, a sticker set featuring road trip motifs like gas stations, motel keys, diners, and donuts, a road trip version of the Brass Clip, and a tote bag perfect for road trips. All of these will be available at all three locations.
TRAVELER’S notebook TRC USA Road Trip Brown
This TRAVELER’S notebook is themed around an American road trip. The brown leather cover features the “ROAD TRIP” logo beautifully embossed in copper foil.
Inside, the refill showcases a caravan bus filled with everyone’s TRAVELER’S notebooks, highlighted in gold foil.
The refill paper is made from our original kraft paper, combining a rustic texture with excellent writing quality. It’s the perfect companion for your road trip adventures.

The TRAVEL & SKETCH experience will begin at 2:00 PM at Art Toolkit and end at 3:00 PM. No reservations are required.

Spiral Ring Notebook Viking Event – USA Road Trip
Have you ever wanted a notebook that’s different from what everybody else have? This event will allow you to make your one and only notebook!
First, choose your favorite cover with the foil stamping of the event logo. Then move on to the section where there are papers stacked beautifully on a plate. In Japan, “Viking” is a common term to describe a buffet, an idea that was inspired by smörgåsbords in Sweden. We prepared various papers including our MD papers, papers with pockets, and other unique and colorful papers. Once you stand in front of the papers that are lined along the table, you’ll start to feel as if you’re in a morning buffet served at a hotel. Pick your favorite papers, group them in the order you want them to be, and in the end, the ring-binding craftsman will bind the notebook right in front of you!
The event will feature three original USA-limited Road Trip cover designs. You can create your very own Spiral Ring Notebook (in A5 Slim size) to take on your next road trip.
To ensure the quality of the experience, a reservation to make your own Spiral Ring Notebook is required, limited to one notebook per booking slot. There will be approximately 6 – 8 time slots each day, with a limited quantity of notebooks available per time slot. Each person is allowed to make up to 3 notebooks (in other words, book 3 time slots).
*For example, you can book 2 units of notebooks in the 10:00 – 10:45 time slot, and 1 unit of notebooks in the following 10:45 – 11:30 time slot to reach the maximum of 3. You can also choose to book all 3 units in the same time slot.
Please note that if your order contains more than 3 notebooks or make several orders to exceed 3 notebooks, we may cancel and refund your order. Please arrive 5 minutes before your reserved time slot so we can check you in using the order confirmation number before the experience.
*No refund nor returns are allowed for Spiral Ring Notebook Viking. Please ensure the date and booking time is correct before you check out.
