On November 8th and 9th, TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA brought a slice of TRAVELER’S FACTORY to Los Angeles! For two days, HIGHTIDE STORE DTLA became home to a TRAVELER’S FACTORY pop-up, offering the Los Angeles community a chance to experience what makes the flagship TRAVELER’S COMPANY stores in Japan so special. TRAVELER’S FACTORY isn’t just a store. It’s where the spirit of TRAVELER’S COMPANY comes alive, featuring décor, artifacts, and goods that embody the TRAVELER’S SPIRIT of travel, creativity, and documentation.

This two-day pop-up at HIGHTIDE STORE DTLA was meaningful to the TRC USA team because it was the final pop-up event of 2025. It was a final opportunity this year to gather with TRAVELER’S notebook enthusiasts, to share stories, and to celebrate the analog tools that help us document our journeys. As we move into the holiday season, there’s something fitting about pausing to reflect on the connections we’ve made and the memories we’ve documented in our TRAVELER’S notebooks in 2025.

Good Vibes at HIGHTIDE STORE DTLA

The TRAVELER’S FACTORY pop-up was nestled into a lovely corner of HIGHTIDE STORE DTLA. The bold posters, unique clothing, and quirky ceramics that surrounded the pop-up matched the TRAVELER’S SPIRIT perfectly. The autumn sunlight streaming through the windows cast beautiful shadows and light into the space, creating an atmosphere that felt warm and welcoming.

Early Birds and New Connections

Eager TRAVELER’S notebook enthusiasts arrived as early as 8:30 am to check out the TRAVELER’S FACTORY items and goods. The first day buzzed with excitement as TRAVELER’S notebook users connected over their shared appreciation for analog tools while in line or browsing the pop-up space. Despite the uncharacteristically warm weekend in Los Angeles, the holiday vibes were still in the air, as TN fans came in with good spirits, ready to mingle and connect with other like-minded people. HIGHTIDE STORE DTLA proved to be the ideal venue, with their own carefully curated stationery complementing the TRAVELER’S FACTORY items.

LOVE AND TRIP
It was heartwarming to see TRAVELER’S notebook enthusiasts already documenting their experiences in their new LOVE AND TRIP red TRAVELER’S notebooks at the pop-up. Some carefully selecting which inserts to add, while others were already filling pages with stamps and ephemera from the pop-up itself!

The red LOVE AND TRIP TRAVELER’S notebooks mirrored the falling maple leaves of late autumn across many parts of the country. Their rich red tone signals that colder months are ahead. As autumn comes to an end and we draw closer to the winter holidays, we need to remember the central themes of LOVE AND TRIP, which is all about love and community!

Watching everyone use their red LOVE AND TRIP TRAVELER’S notebooks reminded us that community surrounds us. Some were meeting for the first time at this pop-up, while others had bonded at previous events, and that’s what makes this TRAVELER’S notebook community special. It’s the willingness of people from all backgrounds to connect over a shared love for analog tools and creativity.

Whether you’re documenting your journey in Tokyo, New York, or Los Angeles, when you open your TRAVELER’S notebook, you’re connecting with a larger community. A community that values travel, the analog experience, and most importantly, creativity.

All Things Analog
Music lovers and vinyl collectors gathered excitedly around the TWELVES RECORD x TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA collaborative Passport Size inserts! Attendees appreciated the chance to discover these special inserts after the October launch and listening party at TWELVES RECORD in Long Beach. The vinyl-themed inserts resonated with TRAVELER’S notebook fans, who loved the thoughtful design paying homage to record culture and even Southern California.

Adding to the musical atmosphere, HIGHTIDE played an eclectic playlist throughout the weekend, spanning genres from indie pop to jazz to electronic beats, creating a soundtrack that made the two days feel more like a celebration. It was a nice reminder that documenting in your TRAVELER’S notebook is about capturing the experiences, sounds, and feelings that make life rich and memorable.

Wrapping Up 2025 with Gratitude

The two-day pop-up at HIGHTIDE STORE DTLA was a great way to close out 2025 and welcome the holiday season with the TRAVELER’S notebook community. We’re thankful for everyone who made the journey to HIGHTIDE STORE DTLA this past weekend, and to any of the TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA pop-up events this year. The connections made over our shared love of analog tools truly embody what TRAVELER’S SPIRIT is all about. Here’s to more travels, more stories, and more notebooks filled with memories in 2026.

Have a nice trip!
