TRC USA Road Trip Report from Stationery Fest 2026

After two years, TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA returned to New York for Stationery Fest 2026 at Industry City in Brooklyn, NY, from July 30 to August 1. It felt good to be back with the TRAVELER’S notebook community on the East Coast. At Booth E13, we met longtime users carrying notebooks filled with travel journaling and years of memories, along with new travelers discovering TRAVELER’S COMPANY for the first time. Across all three days, our tables became a place to compare inserts, collect ephemera, and meet like-minded creatives and travelers with a shared passion for memory keeping and travel.

It’s Good to Be Back

Returning to New York felt special because it gave us a chance to see how the community has grown over time. Some attendees remembered visiting us at the previous Stationery Fest in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2024 and came by carrying the TRAVELER’S notebooks they picked up two years ago. Those notebooks have since become part of their daily lives! We saw TRAVELER’S notebooks with a lovely patina from daily use, a jumble of charms hanging from elastics, and pages filled with a mix of travel journaling and everyday notes.

What We Brought to Stationery Fest 2026

For Stationery Fest 2026, we brought a wide range of TRAVELER’S COMPANY favorites, including TRAVELER’S FACTORY original items, BRASS PRODUCTS, TRC USA Limited items, and special selections usually found only at physical events. The booth had something for travelers building their first notebook system and experienced TRAVELER’S notebook fans looking to restock their favorite inserts.

The 20th Anniversary celebration was top of mind for many TRAVELER’S notebook enthusiasts, so Stationery Fest felt like a natural place to continue the excitement. The TRAVELER’S notebook Card Size 20th Anniversary Set in Black and Brown gave visitors a chance to see the new pocketable size in person. Many people picked it up to compare it against their Passport Size or Regular Size notebooks, imagining how it could work for quick notes, credit cards, and receipt storage.

The TRAVELER’S notebook 20th Anniversary Customization Set was another favorite. Guests opened the tin to look closely at the stickers, brass charm and clip, and the wooden stamps, often talking through how each piece could be used to customize their notebook setups.

TRC USA Limited Items

The TRC USA Limited lineup brought road trip energy to Industry City through motifs inspired by gas stations, motel keys, diners, donuts, and the small stops that make a road trip memorable. The TRC USA Limited TRAVELER’S notebook Brown with its copper-foil stamped Road Trip logo drew attention at the booth, especially from visitors who enjoy traveling via the open road. By the end of the festival, it was charming to see so many attendees walking around the festival floor with their Road Trip tote, which many used as their shopping bag for the festival weekend.

We also brought a slice of California to New York through TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA Limited items like The Golden Coast California insert and Let’s Go on a Road Trip insert. Although we were on the East Coast, many fans gravitated towards these California-themed inserts for trips and travels they hope to take in the future.

Event Favorites

Some items make the most sense when people can hold them in person. The Sticker Release Paper inserts and Accordion Paper inserts were two of the most asked-about inserts at the booth. Many attendees were collecting stickers throughout the festival and wanted a simple way to organize them without committing each sticker permanently to a page. The Accordion Paper is a convenient size and continuous format for people to collect stamps, autographs, and notes from friends, creators, and artists at the festival.

We also brought event-exclusive TRC USA Limited Leather Folders by BUTLER VERNER SAILS × TRAVELER’S FACTORY to Stationery Fest. Made with vegetable-tanned leather from Himeji, these folders are designed to hold tickets, receipts, and other small ephemera you want to keep close to your notebook.  The Regular Size featured a van motif that matched our TRC USA Road Trip theme, while the Passport Size featured a diner mug motif that connected back to the Limited Edition TRAVELER’S notebook Diner from a few years back.

We also brought special collaboration Passport size inserts with TWELVES RECORD from Long Beach. It was a good match for analog lovers who like to document new music discoveries, vinyl wishlists, or anything music-related.

TRAVELER’S FACTORY Originals and Analog Essentials

Beyond notebooks and inserts, the booth included TRAVELER’S FACTORY original goods and everyday accessories to support different kinds of setups or “everyday carries.” Visitors looked through lifestyle items like TF Stainless Steel Bottles and TF Canvas Pouches, or customization items like TF Tin Charms and TF Acrylic Keychains, and a small selection of masking tape and sticker sets. We also brought organizing accessories from TO&FRO, along with TF Original Leather Zipper Cases, TF Bear Brass Tags, and TF Bear Brass Badges.

The Summer of TRAVEL & SKETCH

Summer is the season for TRAVEL & SKETCH, and that came through clearly during Stationery Fest. The TRAVEL & SKETCH SPIRAL RING NOTEBOOKS were popular throughout the weekend, especially with people who wanted a place to collect stamps, draw quick scenes from the festival, or write down trip details while visiting New York. The sketch paper is versatile enough that you can stamp on it while at the festival or even paint on it if the mood strikes. It was fun seeing some users return to the TRC USA tables at the end of the festival and seeing how full their SPIRAL RING NOTEBOOKS were with festival stamps and stickers.

Thank You, New York

Our time in New York always feels too short, but Stationery Fest 2026 gave us so many moments we will remember fondly. It is not often that the TRC USA team gets to spend time with the East Coast TRAVELER’S notebook community, so it meant a lot to see familiar faces from the last Stationery Fest, in addition to meeting so many new users and TRAVELER’S notebook fans.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth E13. We hope the memories we made at this year’s Stationery Fest can continue when we return to New York for the TRAVELER’S COMPANY 20th Anniversary Caravan at Yoseka Land from September 11 to 12.

Have a nice trip!
