Come along with the TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan and its tour around the United States this year! TRAVELER’S notebook is all about travelers with a free spirit. When we are visiting places, new or old, it is important for us to always view our surroundings with a fresh perspective. Even in towns or streets that you’ve walked countless times, there may be events or occasions that make the moment extraordinary. With your TRAVELER’S notebook in hand, we encourage you to note down and capture those feelings in your everyday life.
TRAVELER’S COMPANY started in Japan but has ventured out to different corners of the world over these years, collecting new experiences and fresh points of view. We oiled our wheels and set up the wagons of our Stamp Caravan to different cities, hoping that we could bring a piece of the TRAVELER’S spirit to fans. At our home base at TRAVELER’S FACTORY stores in Japan, you will find stamps that commemorate your leg of the journey. At your local Stamp Caravan event, we brought the traveling stamps with us to leave a mark in your notebooks.
The first part of the Stamp Caravan tour in the US began in May throughout the month of June. The caravan traversed cities such as Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Alexandria, and Charlotte. The TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan will continue moving from the East to the West as it makes its way across the country. Let’s look at the stores that hosted the special event so far, and what the experience is like!
The Paper Mouse – Newton, Massachusetts
The Paper Mouse is the creation of husband-and-wife team Victor Lee and Jenny Zhang, based in Newton, MA (a suburb just outside of Boston). The quaint storefront sits on one of the main shopping streets of the town and offers a cozy nook that is filled from floor to window with greeting cards, analog tools, and other fun gifts for travelers and locals alike.

The Paper Mouse is also a TRAVELER’S COMPANY Partner Shop, drawing avid fans from the greater Massachusetts community to this special event. Along the bright windows of the storefront, fans gathered over the five days to collect stamps in their TRAVELER’S notebooks.
On the wall space, winning entries from the TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA Road Trip Contest are also displayed for visitors to admire. Overall, it was an energizing start to the Stamp Caravan tour in the US!

Yoseka Stationery – Brooklyn, New York
Traveling south from Massachusetts, the second stop of the TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan found its way to Brooklyn, New York, at Yoseka Stationery, also a TRAVELER’S COMPANY Partner Shop. The store’s faded-brick wall façade is a welcoming sight to weary travelers who are looking for a place to rest, while discovering more stationery wonders inside its building.

Yoseka Stationery is a stationery store focused on experiences, whether it is through testing all kinds of writing instruments, or making marks on different notebooks and paper. The TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan experience is showcased right by the entryway, drawing interest from TRAVELER’S notebook fans and new visitors alike.

Fans could purchase refills and other TRAVELER’S COMPANY accessories; all organized neatly in an antique drawer alongside other unique furnishings that filled the store. Throughout the weekend, travelers enjoyed the unique atmosphere of Yoseka Stationery and the stamp caravan experience.
OMOI – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The Stamp Caravan tour made its way down the East Coast to the historical town of Old City, Philadelphia. Despite its historical setting, OMOI Life Goods presents a refreshing experience with stationery and lifestyle items from around the world. An assortment of gifts and TRAVELER’S COMPANY items filled the store in wooden cubbies and shelves. Customers can enjoy picking out unique items for themselves or to gift to loved ones.

As a TRAVELER’S COMPANY Partner Shop, OMOI is well stocked with TRAVELER’S notebook items as well as limited TRAVELER’S FACTORY goods. In the dedicated corner, visitors can admire the winning entries of the Road Trip Submission Contest to see how customers enjoy using the TRAVELER’S notebook. On a kraft paper decorated table, fans can collect stamps in their notebooks and meet other fellow TRAVELER’S notebook users as well.

After taking in all that you can in the small but mighty store, OMOI Staff were eager to recommend fun places to visit in their neighborhood, ensuring a great experience for travelers who may have come from further away.
Penny Post – Alexandria, Virginia
In the quaint waterfront town of Alexandria, by the Potomac River just south of Washington, DC, you can visit Penny Post, a paper goods store offering greeting cards, notebooks, and writing tools for the novice or professional users.

Penny Post is a welcoming addition to the TRAVELER’S COMPANY Partner Shop roster in the United States. Inside the store, there is a community table that allows fans and new customers alike to participate in the Stamp Caravan experience.

The dark green walls highlight all the colorful greeting cards the store proudly presents, as well as the entire lineup of TRAVELER’S COMPANY items. TRAVELER’S notebook users in the DC and Virginia area all enjoyed this opportunity to share their notebooks and fun travel experiences during the caravan.
Good Postage – Charlotte, North Carolina
The first part of the Stamp Caravan wraps up at Good Postage in Charlotte, North Carolina. This TRAVELER’S COMPANY Partner Shop is located in a 75-acre industrial site called Camp North End, which is full of other artists, makers, and small businesses. The store is furnished with uniquely recycled furniture, including a bright yellow picnic table that welcomes travelers and other stationery enthusiasts to sit and mingle.

Good Postage also held a private event for TRAVELER’S notebook users during the five-day event, inviting fans and new customers to a more intimate experience, sharing their passion for TRAVELER’S notebooks and their adventures.

The TRAVELER’S COMPANY Stamp Caravan continues its journey across the United States throughout the rest of the year until August. Read about the caravan schedule and see which city they will be traveling to next. Perhaps you can encounter it when you plan your next travel destination!
