From February 14th – 16th, TRAVELER’S COMPANY USA team packed a van and took a short road trip from Long Beach to Redondo Beach for a pop-up event at California Pen Show 2025! Although the show opened on a damp and rainy Friday, it was followed by sunny weather throughout the weekend. It was rejuvenating to see the outpour of love from locals and travelers alike for TRAVELER’S COMPANY and other stationery goods at the show.
The first day of the California Pen Show landed on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, which serendipitously matches this year’s TRC theme of LOVE AND TRIP. Just as the theme describes, the passion and love for stationery had brought together the crowd that visited the pen show over the weekend. Many traveled from all around Southern California and some from out of state to browse our selection of TRAVELER’S notebook items.
This year at the California Pen Show, we brought a selection of TF Original items which are tools and items that can normally only be purchased in the TRAVELER’S FACTORY stores in Japan. The TF Original Canvas Pouch was popular with fans, as there are three sizes to choose from which fit either your Passport Size or Regular Size TRAVELER’S notebooks.
Other TF Original items like the Masking Tapes, Pan Am Sticker Sets, Postcards, and Sacoche Bags were snagged up by excited fans who wanted to experience a bit of TRAVELER’S FACTORY in California.
To bring a taste of the TRAVELER’S FACTORY experience to the California Pen Show, we brought a capsule toy machine filled with our TRC USA Road Trip Badges. There are 5 unique designs that can be won through the capsule machine and TN fans swapped and traded their pins to get the design they were looking for.
At the TRAVELER’S COMPANY booth, we also brought a corner of COFFEE TABLE TRIP. Alongside TRAVELER’S notebook, you can pick up our recommended HASAMI PORCELAIN mugs, TRAVELER’S FACTORY Original Coffee Bags and coasters, as well as single-origin beans from Long Beach local: Black Dog Coffee.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a road trip experience without the TRC USA Limited Road Trip Collection. It was a pleasant surprise for us to meet so many fans who had come along on the adventure last year through our West Coast caravan. For fans who are seeing the collection for the first time, we showcased the event exclusive Road Trip Tote Bag and Road Trip Sticker Set alongside the TRAVELER’S notebook Road Trip Brown and Brass Clip.
